The TVS Twin Vertical Bandsaw uses thin and narrow belts to effectively remove two vertical sides of logs up to 400mm in diameter. TVS is designed to be investment efficient, flexible and load resistant for long term reliable operation. The TVS works equally well as a standalone machine and as part of a breaking line.
The machine is controlled by a mobile console, from where it is started and stopped, the thickness of whipping, the speed of feeding, the laser ascents, etc. are set. A computer SW size setting device is available as an option. 5 sizes can be stored in it, which the operator can quickly set depending on the thickness of the logs. Thus, it is not necessary to pre-sort the logs by diameter. Various feed conveyors make the TVS one of the most flexible solutions for removing two sides of regular logs, irregularly shaped logs and prisms at speeds from 0-25m/min.
Feed chain conveyors for logs:
– The V-conveyor feeds the logs one by one through the twin beam. Studded rollers press the logs from above. The distance between the pushers can easily be changed depending on the length of the logs. This is a good solution for standard length straight logs.
– The studded chain conveyor together with the studded pressure rollers ensure exceptional log stability during splitting. In this case, the corpses can be placed face to face. It is an ideal solution for increasing productivity with straight and irregularly shaped logs.
On the output side of the conveyor are offered:
– Side discs – are pressed by pneumatic cylinders and hold the cover to the prism until it is completely out of the beam.
– Side rollers – these are on both sides of the conveyor and have a spirally grooved surface. The shutters fall on them and are carried out to the side to the shutter conveyor.
– Economical option – after weaning, the lids fall straight onto the transverse lid conveyor.
