Kalin Simeonov together with his friend – Kristian Spasov, both young and enthusiastic scientists, start Ecotechproduct Ltd. in the field of environmental and sustainable technologies.

The first product of the company – wooden poles, impregnated with famous American technology, with a warranty of 20 years. After 30 years, these poles can still be seen in agricultural land.

Kalin Simeonov and Kristian Spasov separated and Albena Simeonova started a permanent job at the company.

The eldest son Alexander Simeonov starts in the family business. Today he is the company’s chief accountant.

Ecotechproduct Ltd. became a representative of the famous American company Wood-Mizer, a manufacturer of horizontal bandsawmills. Ecotechproduct is one of the company’s oldest dealers in Europe.

Ecotechproduct buys a Wood-Mizer mobile sawmill and starts mobile contract sawmillng in the area of Chepelare.

The second son Angel Simeonov starts working in the family company. Today he is the manager of Vita-02.

For the first time the company participates in the specialised exhibition Technomebel in Sofia. Every year since then, Ecotechproduct presents the latest woodworking equipment at this exhibition.

Ecotechproduct opens a subsidiary production company Vita-02 in the hometown of Kalin Simeonov – Teteven. The first in Bulgaria industrial band sawmill LT300 is installed there. Today Vita-02 is like a demonstration site, where you can see in action most of the machines and equipment offered by Ecotechproduct. Every year in October, an Open Doors Day is held there, which attracts wood processors from all over the country.

The daughter Tsvetelina Simeonova starts working in the family company as a marketing and advertising manager.

The construction of a new modern office building of Ecotechproduct in Sofia begins.

For the first time a competition of Wood-Mizer machine operators is held in Chepelare. In terms of the number of sold Wood-Mizer machines in Bulgaria, this year becomes the best in the history of the company.

A service centre for sharpening and preparation of bandsaw blades based on the industrial automatic equipment Wood-Mizer BMS500 is opened.

The Vanseller program begins: Ecotechproduct organises delivery of bandsaw blades and spare parts in different regions of Bulgaria.

Ecotechproduct makes a serious investment in the purchase of a new production site, which is located next to the company in Teteven, and a significant expansion of production activities is planed.

Ecotechproduct Ltd. celebrates 25 years in business. About 1000 Wood-Mizer band sawmills operate in Bulgaria. The first in Europe automated line for processing of small logs SLP2 (Smart Log Processing) has been installed in the country.

At the celebration of the traditional “Open Doors Day” in Teteven, the founder and manager of Ecotechproduct, Eng. Kalin Simeonov received the award “Fastest growing distributor” of Wood-Mizer.

A new wide-band sawmill WB2000 starts operating in the subsidiary Vita-02, together with an optimising cross-cutting circular saw for more efficient production of slats.

Ecotechproduct Ltd. turns 30 years old. In this difficult situation, we continue to believe that together we will move forward.
